The Rajas, not satisfied with their wives, had frequently children by their female slaves, who, although not legitimate successors to the throne,were styled rajpoots, or the children of the rajas. The muslim Invaders took full advantage of this realy bad and immoral practice popular among indian kings, to find a good alley among hindoos and to also satisfy their own lust and appointed those son of kings as their Governors.
During mugal period this community became so powerful that they started abusing their own people motherland.
